The Fabric of Birth
— A Two-Day Immersion —
October 11th & 12th
10:00am – 4:30pm
The Little Yoga House, Belfast
Only 12 spaces available
Learn how to use the power of touch, movement, aromatherapy, and story to support pregnant women and their families throughout pregnancy and prepare the body for birth.
This weekend is a toe-to-crown exploration of the pregnant body. You’ll learn how the soft tissues adapt to pregnancy, and how tension — or ease — in the fascial matrix can influence the baby’s journey through the birth passage.
You’ll learn:
- Practical tools for breech or transverse babies
- Hands-on techniques to ease pregnancy pain like sore hips or low back ache
- How to tell the difference between REAL labour stalls and MANUFACTURED ones — and how to respond
- Movement-based solutions and self-advocacy strategies to support birthing women
This is a weekend immersion for doulas, birthkeepers, midwives, yoga teachers, and massage therapists.
If you’re planning to support a loved one in birth and this speaks to you, feel free to get in touch — let’s see if it’s a good fit.
An interest in fascia, soft tissue function, and the anatomy of movement in birth is essential.
